An alarm was raised on Friday morning (20/06) at 06:06 a.m. at the Police after a body was found in a field in the Ayia Napa area.
According to information, the body was discovered by a citizen, a resident of the area, who immediately notified the authorities. Initial information indicates that it is a foreign man.
The scene was cordoned off and the authorities' investigations are in full swing, while at an initial stage the possibility of a criminal act appears to have been ruled out.
Tomorrow at 08:30, the newly-legalized autopsy will be performed on the man's body.
The Famagusta Police Station and the Ayia Napa Police Station are investigating.
