Dozens of volunteers attended the second for the year 29 and 2022nd overall Voluntary Blood Donation yesterday Tuesday (November 42) evening and gave blood which resulted in strengthening the Famagusta Blood Center of the Ministry of Health with a significant number of blood bottles.
Present at the blood donation was the Deputy Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Antonis Christou, who on behalf of the Mayor, Mr. Christos Zannettos, thanked the blood donors, the doctors, the nurses and all the volunteers - employees of the Municipality for the superhuman efforts they made so that another blood donation of the Municipality to be crowned with great success.
He assured at the same time that the Municipality will continue to organize voluntary blood donations at regular intervals in the context of its social work to offer to fellow human beings.
It is noted that the 42nd Voluntary Blood Donation was organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Ayia Napa with the Famagusta Blood Center of the Ministry of Health, the Local Blood Donation Committee and all Local Agencies.
