The educational seminar on pumpkin cultivation and care, which took place as part of the Ayia Napa Municipality's activities program, was a great success.
The space of the "George Seferis" Cultural Center (it was not held in the courtyard of the Farmhouse as planned due to weather conditions) proved too small to accommodate the two groups of Cypriot and foreign visitors, who showed interest, and so the educational seminar on pumpkin cultivation and care by Mrs. Chrystalla Pitsilli was held for each group separately.
Mrs. Pitsilli explained to them in a very illustrative and narrative way how the pumpkin is cultivated and showed them how to decorate it with various paintings. All those who took part left the venue with pleasure and satisfaction painted on their faces after having had a very pleasant and productive two hours.
Next Friday, January 31, the program of activities includes an excursion to the Botanical Garden, in the Municipal District of Avgorou - Municipality of Ayia Napa, and those interested are invited to register their participation in advance with Mrs. Eva Mastrou at 23-816342, 99-512227 because places are limited.
