The "Stirixi" Autism Association of Famagusta, in collaboration with the 9th BIAC- International Autism Conference, are organizing for the first time in Cyprus, the International Autism Conference entitled: "Autism: A Complicated Riddle".

Reason: At a time when research and questions about Autism Spectrum Disorders are ongoing, society needs to be informed about developments, so that it can offer a better quality of life to people with ASD and their families.
The conference aspires to be an important point of reference in the field of Autism, bringing together leading experts from around the world to share their knowledge and experience.
It is aimed at professionals, special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, music therapists, special trainers, mental health professionals, doctors, nurses, caregivers, teachers of Middle & Secondary Technical Education, parents and students.
The conference is under the auspices of the Under-Minister of Social Welfare and the opening address, on Friday 25 October, will be addressed by the Under-Minister of Welfare, Mrs. Marilena Evangelou.

Paddle for Autism 70Km
"Sea Route of Love"
Next to the families, the windsurfing teams of Mr. Kostas Symeonidis and Mrs. Maria Panagi from Cyprus (from the provinces of Limassol Windsurfers On Tour and Famagusta (Begafigo Sup Team) to the beautiful island of Syros (syros_nautical_club) will be added. their strength and rowing, covering distances from 5 to 70 km.All proceeds will be allocated to the construction of the Smile Project Multipurpose Center.
On October 26, the athletes starting from Zygi in a 70km route will finish at the Marina of Ayia Napa at 18:00 pm. Afterwards, a cocktail party will follow.
