The Famagusta Police Department is investigating a case concerning the offense of Assault and Causing Serious Bodily Harm.
According to the Police, specifically, yesterday 02/07/2025 and at around 06:30, information was received by the Police, about an injured person who was transported by ambulance to the Nicosia General Hospital. From the testimony received so far, it was established that a 17-year-old boy was walking with another friend on Agia Mavris Street in Ayia Napa, when he was attacked by a group of people, as a result of which he suffered a fractured jaw.
The 17-year-old is currently intubated in critical condition.
