The Police proceeded to arrest a 47-year-old man, in relation to the investigated cases of indecent assault, indecent act, and assault, which according to the evidence under investigation, the suspect allegedly committed against five women, one of whom was a minor, 17 years old . The 47-year-old was taken into custody, with the Ayia Napa Police Station investigating.
According to what the five women, aged between 17 and 22, reported to the Police, on three separate dates, in an area of Ayia Napa, a man unknown to them allegedly committed indecent acts against them and indecently assaulted two of the five women .
Specifically, shortly before 6.30:07 in the morning, while a woman was in an area in Ayia Napa, a suspicious man allegedly attacked her obscenely. In the same area, on August 7.30, around 11 in the morning, two women were approached by a suspicious man, who stopped the car he was driving near them and after opening the door of his vehicle, allegedly performed an indecent act in front of them. On August 6.00, shortly after XNUMX:XNUMX a.m., in the same area, a suspicious man, in a car he was driving, approached two other women and after getting out of his vehicle, allegedly committed an indecent act in front of them and indecently assaulted one of them from the two women.
Members of the Ayia Napa Police Station conducted examinations in the area, from which evidence emerged against the 47-year-old suspect and a judicial arrest warrant was issued against him. The 47-year-old was located and arrested shortly after 9.00 yesterday morning and was taken into custody for the purpose of investigating the cases of indecent assault, indecent act, and assault.
