On Sunday, August 04, 2024, at the Holy Church of Panagia in Ayia Napa, the Annual National Memorial of the heroes who fell heroically during the Turkish invasion, GIANNAKI ANTONI PAPPOULLI and CHRISTAKI PIERI CHRISTOU.
The Divine Liturgy and the Memorial will be celebrated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of the Holy Metropolis of Constantia-Ammochosto, Mr. Basilios, and the Honorable Deputy Minister of Social Welfare Mrs. Marilena Evangelou will deliver the Memorial Speech.
After the end of the Remembrance, there is an artistic program and laying of wreaths on the busts of the heroes.
