The social, political and economic aspects of the immigration phenomenon, in order to present a global picture of the future and the challenges facing society, were analyzed in depth by the author and vice-president of the Central Council of the Cyprus Studies Center, President of the Demographic and Migration Policy Institute Mr. Andreas Morfitis during his recent lecture at the "Giorgos Seferis" Cultural Center on the subject of "Immigration and its Effects".
Through a thorough analysis and the fruitful dialogue that followed immediately between the attendees and the speaker, opinions were exchanged and various solutions were proposed.
The event was held as part of a series of events organized by the Organization "Agia Napa 2030 - Candidate for European Capital of Culture 2030" for its Festival of Ideas, which aims to inform and raise public awareness of various social issues such as immigration, which in recent years has taken on alarming proportions in our country.
