Photos of a suspicious man, who is wanted in connection with an investigated case of theft of a sum of money amounting to approximately 4,500 euros, are released by the Police, with the aim of gathering information that may lead to the identification of his details and his location.

According to the data under investigation, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, the wanted suspect went to a store in the province of Famagusta, where he asked an employee to exchange an amount of money of close to 5,500 dollars, with a corresponding amount in EUROS.
The employee counted the money in dollars that the suspect gave him and gave the suspect a corresponding change in EUROS. The suspect, however, while the two sums of money were on the cash register counter, managed to trick the store employee and without being noticed, replaced the bundle of $5,500 that he had initially given to the employee, with another bundle consisting of one dollar bills. and two EURO banknotes. By keeping the $5,500 bundle, the suspect made a profit of around €4,500.
The suspect had earlier gone to the same store, where he had exchanged dollars for EUROS, for the amount of 300 euros.
