The public will have the opportunity to watch remarkable theatrical performances during the "Theatrical Performances Quarter" of the Municipality of Ayia Napa
Beginning on February 10 with the performance of the Satirist "The Unsatisfied". A total of sixteen theater performances, including three for children, comprise the program of the "Three Month Theater Performances" organized by the Municipality of Ayia Napa from February 10 to April 21, 2023.
These are remarkable performances that have been staged by the theaters of the "Theatrical Organization of Cyprus" (THOK), "Satirikos", "Skala" Theatre, "Antilogos", "Dentro", "Dionysos", "Anatropes" Theatre. , "Mascarini", "Alpha Square", the "Karma" Theater, as well as the "Peravasi Lymbia" Theatrical Group, the "Terpsis" Condeats and Friends Theatrical Club, the Deryneia Municipality Theatrical Club and the Agios Georgios Cultural Club - Vrysoulon.
The ultimate goal of the Municipality is to promote the art of theater and to bring to the public of the Free Province of Famagusta the plays staged by the theaters of our country, which are mostly based in the other provinces, giving the opportunity for everyone to watch remarkable performances with free admission.
Theatrical performances will be held on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with free admission except for the children's theatrical performances "Around the World in 80 Days" from stage 018 of "THOK" (17/02) "When You Love" of the Theater " Mascarini" based on the book with the same title, by the two distinguished kindergarten teachers from Ayia Napa, Andri Kritikou and Maria Kremma (18/02, at 11.00am and 5.00pm) and "Tetradymoi" from the Theater " Mascarini", which is organized by the Pan-Cypriot Organization of the Five-Member Family of Famagusta (P.O.P.O.). Proceeds from all three shows will be donated to needy families.
