This was decided during yesterday's meeting (Thursday, December 12, 2019) of the Mayor / Deputy Mayor Mr. Christos Zannetos with representatives of all local parties, organized groups and organizations of Ayia Napa, which took place in his office.
During the meeting, Mr. Zannetou informed them extensively about the study of the Ministry, which as it is known talks about the merger of the four Municipalities of the Province, about the actions that the Municipality has taken so far to prevent this decision, but also about them. planned in the near future, such as the organization of a provincial rally, to which will be invited to attend government officials and all MPs of the Province.
The Mayor of Ayia Napa recommended to everyone that the possibility for autonomy of the Municipality, something that was the most ideal, but it turned out that it would be very difficult, as it is ideal for each Municipality to be able to decide its future through the conduct referendums.
