The works to upgrade the road network of the Municipality of Ayia Napa began on Wednesday, February 04, 2025, and continue, specifically, from Nisi Avenue to the Liopetriou River, a radius of approximately 10km.
The project includes asphalt paving and horizontal markings and the work is expected to be completed by the end of March 2025. Its total cost amounts to €1,000,000.00.
"The primary goal of the Municipality of Ayia Napa," said Mayor Mr. Christos Zannetou, "is the safety and protection of all citizens and visitors, the aesthetic reconstruction of the road network and the upgrading of the quality of life in all Municipal Districts of the Municipality of Ayia Napa."
He also expressed his warm thanks to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, and especially to the Department of Public Works of the Ministry of Transport, for their support and excellent cooperation.
