The Ayia Napa Municipality Open School announces the launch of new educational and sports programs, which will be implemented from February to May 2026 and are aimed at children, young people and adults.
The new programs included in the program are Archery and Computers.
Archery is an Olympic sport that offers children the opportunity to experience something different and exciting. Through the program, participants develop concentration, balance and self-confidence, learning a sport that combines skill and harmony of body and mind. The program is implemented under the guidance of experienced instructor Mr. Marinos Lella.
The program is aimed at primary, middle and high school students. The lessons will take place every Thursday and Saturday at the Former Kindergarten of the Ayia Napa Municipal District, with a total duration of 120 minutes per week. The participation cost is 60 euros for the entire period.
Regarding Computer programs, the Open School's goal is to provide education that meets modern needs. The ECDL program is aimed at individuals aged 11 and above and prepares participants for the internationally recognized European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), Standard level, with seven modules.
At the same time, the Smartphone Usage program is offered for people 18 years of age and older, which focuses on acquiring basic digital skills in an Android and iOS environment, such as internet safety, browsing, email and the use of payment applications.
The lessons will take place at the Ayia Napa Primary School "Antonis Tsokkos", in various sections, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with a total duration of 120 minutes per week. The participation cost for each program is 60 euros for the entire period. The instructor of the programs is Ms. Dimitra Orthodoxos.
