The "Virtual Ayia Napa Half Marathon 2020" continues until the end of December, which due to the coronavirus pandemic is conducted online.
A written announcement of the Municipality of Ayia Napa states that “the change marathon started on December 6 and will end on the 31st of the month, while so far dozens of fellow citizens and not only, participated. Young and old, even international students, try with their own contribution and their own marathon, since they run from wherever they are, to support the "Famagusta Autism Support Association".
Those wishing to take part “can register at the Ayia Napa Half Marathon link, Dec 31 2020 | World's Marathons, with a participation fee of six euros. All proceeds from the participation will be donated to the "Famagusta Autism Support Association".
