The Municipality of Ayia Napa (Municipal District of Ayia Napa) informs professionals and shopkeepers in the area that it is launching a campaign to remove all illegal or arbitrary advertising signs placed on sidewalks and public areas.
These signs violate the rules for the use of public spaces, prevent the free and safe passage of pedestrians, and endanger people with disabilities and reduced mobility.
All owners are urged to remove the signs immediately, otherwise the Municipality will proceed with removal without further notice, in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Our goal, said the Deputy Mayor of the Ayia Napa Municipal District, Mr. Antonis Christou, is safety, aesthetic upgrading and smooth accessibility of public spaces.
