The Municipality of Ayia Napa announces the call for tenders for the provision of Consulting Engineer services, with the purpose of carrying out topographic and elevation works, as well as the preparation of proposed regulatory plans for road networks in the Municipal Districts of Sotiras and Liopetri.
The first study concerns the upgrading of an existing road axis with a total length of approximately 5.000 meters in the Sotira Municipal District, from the Agia Thekla bridge to the Spyrou Kyprianou Street intersection, with a budget of €25.000 + VAT.
The second study concerns the main access from the highway to Liopetri, from the Potamos bridge to the community stadium of the Municipal District of Liopetri, with a total length of approximately 3.000 meters, with a budget of €20.000 + VAT.
The aim of the studies is to improve road safety, the smooth movement of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles, as well as to upgrade the accessibility and functionality of the road axes under consideration. The proposed regulatory plans will include, among others, traffic lanes, sidewalks, cycle paths, pedestrian crossings, arrangements for the disabled, vehicle access, parking areas, green spaces and traffic regulations.
