Local and foreign tourists showed great interest in the demonstration of making the muga that took place at the Agrotospito, as part of the Ayia Napa Municipality's activities program.
Dozens of people, locals and foreign tourists, responded to the Municipality's call and attended the Farmhouse to watch Mrs. Maria Kermanou prepare the traditional mug.
What is remarkable, however, is that they were not content with just watching, they willingly participated in their preparation and specifically, they took a mixture, first shaped it into a ball, and then with a finger dipped in water, they shaped it so that it became cylindrical with thin sides without breaking, and they filled the gap from the inside with filling and then closed the edges, forming them into a nose.
When they were baked and tasted, the joy and satisfaction was written on their faces not only because they were very tasty but because they were given the opportunity to participate in the whole process.
