A different and original event is being organized on Lazarus Saturday at the South entrance of the Medieval Monastery from 10:00-12:00 by the Ayia Napa Municipal District of the Ayia Napa Municipality.
During this two-hour event, the "Carols of Lazarus - from Golgotha to the Resurrection" will be sung, followed by a poetic musical program and an educational workshop on decorating an Easter candle, and finally the preparation of the Vagia will take place.
The Ayia Napa Municipal Council invites everyone, young and old, to attend the event and sing the Carols of Lazarus together in the idyllic setting of the Medieval Monastery, to decorate their own Easter candle and to help prepare the Vagia.
