The Exhibition of valuable objects, documents and photography of the Archaeological Museum "Nanyue Palace" of Guangzhou city entitled "The Broad China Sea" is co-organized from 6-30 September at the Municipal Museum "Sea" by the Municipality of Ayia Napa and the Archaeological Museum "Nanyue Palace" ».
The report is divided into three sections:
- Establishment of the Nanyue Kingdom - Opening of the Port and start of trade,
- The entrepreneurship of the Tang government - meeting the big ships
- Sailing and flourishing for a thousand years
The exhibition, organized as part of the promotion of Chinese culture on the world stage and the establishment of close cooperation in the field of culture between the Municipality of Ayia Napa and the Chinese city, reproduces the glorious history and rich cultural heritage of Guangzhou and shows its important role in the sea silk road.
The opening of the exhibition will be held on Thursday, September 27 at 7:00 pm by the Mayor of Ayia Napa Mr. Giannis Karousos in the presence of a delegation of the Archaeological Museum and officials from both sides.
During the exhibition there will be a presentation of the traditional way of preparing and serving Chinese Tea.
