The three-year-old British woman, who admitted that she had filed a false complaint of gang rape by 19 Israelis, is appearing today with three defense lawyers in the District Court of Paralimni.
The 19-year-old was released on bail and was presented to a local police station three times a week.
The 19-year-old, as reported by the SIGMA correspondent in the free province of Famagusta, is represented by a Cypriot lawyer, a British lawyer and the NGO Justice Abroad.
According to the information, the 19-year-old is expected to deny the accusations. Representatives of both the Greek Cypriot and British media, as well as representatives of the Polish news agency and representatives of the British High Commission, are still present at the proceedings.
The case is set to be heard in October, on the 2nd of the month, where witnesses will also be summoned.
As stated in the Court, the defense will challenge the willful testimony while the Prosecuting Authority.
