A Swiss tourist visited Ayia Napa 60 times and was declared "Tourism Ambassador" (English text follows).
The occasion was for Yolanda Herzog, who was honored today, Friday, October 24, 2025, in a modest ceremony held at Ayia Napa Town Hall. The award was made by Ayia Napa Municipal Council Member, Mr. Thanasis Giasemis, on behalf of the Mayor, Mr. Christos Zannetou. Ms. Herzog was awarded a commemorative plaque as well as the emblem of "Tourism Ambassador".
During the award ceremony, Mr. Thanasis Giasemis expressed his warm thanks to Mrs. Yolanda Herzog for her many years of consistent and sincere preference for Ayia Napa as a favorite tourist destination.
