At a special ceremony held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the Deputy Mayor of the Ayia Napa Municipal District, Mr. Antonis Christou, representing the Mayor, Mr. Christos Zannetou, awarded the regular visitors with commemorative plaques as well as the "Tourism Ambassador" emblem.
Mr. Christou, addressing the honorees, expressed his warm thanks and emphasized that their frequent and repeated presence proves their deep love for the place, its culture and its people. “You are no longer just visitors; you are members of the great Ayia Napa family, our best ambassadors in your homelands,” he said.
The honorees themselves, particularly moved by this recognition, stated that Ayia Napa is a second place of residence for them, full of beautiful memories, friendships and experiences. At the same time, they renewed their promise to continue returning for many more years, thus further strengthening their bond with the city.
