PtD contacted Turkish leader Ersin Tatar tonight and they talked about the unacceptable incident of the beating of a young Turkish Cypriot woman in Ayia Napa.
According to information from the Presidential Office, after condemning the event, the President explained to him that those involved were arrested and placed under 4-day arrest and will be brought to justice.
He even explained to him that the incident does not appear to be an incident of racist attack but of unacceptable and reprehensible criminal behavior.
