On Thursday evening, December 4, the magical Christmas Concert of the Cyprus Police Force Philharmonic Orchestra was successfully held, under the direction of its Maestro and Director, Lieutenant Theodoros Herodotou, marking the official start of the Ayia Napa Municipality’s winter events “Cultural Winter 2025-2026”. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy the Philharmonic musicians on a rich musical journey, with favorite Christmas melodies and songs.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, who in his brief greeting referred to the events planned by the Municipality in the near future, underlining the value of cultural activities as an important means of highlighting the cultural heritage of our country.
Mr. Zannettou assured that the Municipality will continue to implement quality events during the winter season, aiming to offer unique experiences to local and foreign visitors and to bring them into contact with local cultural activity.
He also expressed his warm thanks to the Cyprus Police Force Philharmonic for its presence and long-standing support at the Municipality's events, presenting a commemorative gift to its Director, Lieutenant Theodore Herodotou.
The Cultural Winter events continue this Thursday, December 11, at 19:30 PM, with the dance performance "Shine this Christmas" by Passion Dance School – Elena Ttofa. Free admission.
