The Municipality of Ayia Napa invites you to the new three-day cultural institution "Ayia Napa of Tastes", which will take place from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August 2026, at the square of the "Georgos Seferis" Cultural Center, at the historic Monastery of Ayia Napa and in the adjacent areas. A three-day event dedicated to gastronomy, tradition and the cultural identity of the five Municipal Districts of the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
The philosophy of the event is reflected in the central message “Five Communities, One Municipal Vision”. Ayia Napa, Sotira, Liopetri, Avgorou and Achna come together in a common space of culture, creativity and extroversion, highlighting their flavors, history, products, customs and traditions.
The goal is not simply to hold another festival. We are creating an institution that strengthens the unity of the enlarged Municipality, promotes the unique identity of each Municipal District and transforms our cultural diversity into a common developmental force.
At the core of the organization is the practical support of local artists, musicians, dance groups, cultural groups, creators, producers and people of tradition.
For the Municipality of Ayia Napa, local groups are not a complementary part of the program; they are the authentic bearers of the cultural memory and modern creative identity of our place.
According to the Municipality of Ayia Napa, “as a Municipality, we invest in our people and create a platform for expression, cooperation and promotion for the organized cultural groups of all Municipal Districts. The preservation of tradition is not achieved only through its recording, but through the active participation of the people who pass it on from generation to generation.”
"Agia Napa of Tastes" is a collective celebration of identity, hospitality and unity. A three-day event during which culture, gastronomy, local production, music and dance compose the common face of our Municipality.
