The project will be built on a section of state land that has been leased to the Municipality of Ayia Napa for the purposes of constructing the Multipurpose Social Welfare Center.
The inclusion and meaningful integration of people with disabilities is a key priority of the Municipality of Ayia Napa. In this context, the Municipality promotes collaborations with organized groups and bodies, including the Famagusta Autism Support Association.
The Model Autism Center is the result of a long-term collective effort and responds to a critical social need: the support of adult individuals with autism, for whom, after completing their education, there is currently no adequate public accommodation and support structure.
By creating small-scale supported living structures, social inclusion is strengthened, institutionalization is avoided and real conditions for safe, dignified and quality living are created.
The Municipality of Ayia Napa continues to consistently invest in social infrastructure projects, focusing on people, equal opportunities and supporting every family in real need.
