The Christmas Decorations of the Municipal Apartment of Agia Napa - Municipality of Agia Napa were illuminated, simultaneously announcing the beginning of the festive season.
With a beautiful lighting ceremony, which took place recently in St. George's Square in Limanaki, in the presence of local and foreign visitors, the Municipal District of Ayia Napa of the Municipality of Ayia Napa officially declared the beginning of the Christmas season.
The event included a rich artistic program with music and dance performances such as 'The Snow Queen's Lost Daughter by Evolution Dance Studio, 'Christmas Wish' by Vision Dance Studio and 'Magic Christmas' by Passion Dance School, Christmas music and songs, by 'Fairytale of Love', Voice and Music, 'Christmas Cool by Music'S Cool.
Around 18.30, the Mayor Mr. Christos Zannettou flanked by the Deputy Mayors of the DD of the Municipality of Agia Napa, Sotiras, Liopetriou, Avgorou, ΄Achnas and Agia Napa Mr. Antoni Koumis, Marco Koumis, Panagi Michaela and Antonis Christou, the Municipal Councilor of the DD. Ayia Napa Ms. Tasoula Tsokki Koumis and the Archpriest of the Holy Church of Panagia Agia Napa Rev. Father Vasilios Nikolaou lit up the Christmas decorations with the push of a button.
The highlight of the evening was the concert of the great Cretan Artists "Droulias Brothers", who presented a rich entertaining program. Throughout the event, the Christmas Charity Bazaar of the Parents' Associations of the Agia Napa - Antonis Tsokkos Primary School and the Public Community Kindergarten of Agia Napa operated, stands with various constructions for sale for charitable purposes, while Santa Claus through his little house he distributed various gifts to his little friends like the Christmas Disney Mascot.
