With great success and strong participation of the educational and local community, the ERASMUS+ AGIA NAPA Festival took place on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the "George Seferis" Cultural Center, a celebration of knowledge, innovation and European cooperation that has now become an institution in Ayia Napa.
In his statements on the occasion of the organization of the event, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, emphasized that "the ERASMUS+ AGIA NAPA Festival is a living example of how knowledge, education and European cooperation can unite people and open new horizons for our youth."
He also emphasized that "Erasmus+ is not just a series of European programs but a platform for the exchange of ideas and cultures, a bridge of communication between peoples and a valuable learning experience for students and teachers where it gives our children the opportunity to see beyond the borders of our small homeland and feel that they belong to a large, united European family."
In closing, Mr. Zannetou pointed out that the Municipality of Ayia Napa has consistently supported initiatives that promote education, cooperation and creativity. We firmly believe that investing in knowledge and international cooperation is an investment in the future of our country."
