For its distinction in the ratings of visitors to Cyprus on popular online platforms such as TripAdvisor and Booking.com, as the best beach in Cyprus in terms of services provided and cleanliness, Landa Beach was recently awarded at the Cyprus Hospitality Awards. These awards are a new institution of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, which highlights and rewards good practices in the field of hospitality and tourism experience.
The award was received on behalf of the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, by Municipal Councilor Mr. Loukas Ligis, accompanied by the Manager of Warehouses and Beach Beds/Umbrellas of the Ayia Napa Municipality, Mr. Tasos Pateras.
On the occasion of the distinction, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, recently welcomed to his office the staff of the Beach Department who work on Landa Beach, and are responsible for its collection and cleanliness.
Mr. Zannetou, after thanking them for their dedication, consistency and professionalism, stated that "this award is not just an honor for Ayia Napa and for our place, but above all a vindication for you, the staff, who work with responsibility, passion and conscientiousness, offering high-level services every day. Landa Beach - like all the beaches of Ayia Napa - is a model of quality, cleanliness and safety, offering an unforgettable experience to every visitor."
He also added that "from maintaining cleanliness and accessibility, to promptly serving every need, you demonstrate in practice what "tourist care" means. This award belongs to all of you who consistently and lovingly serve the Deputy Ministry of Tourism for the establishment of the Cyprus Hospitality Awards, as well as to the thousands of visitors who, with their positive evaluations, confirm that the Municipality's efforts to upgrade its beaches are bearing fruit.
