The Municipality announces the release of the new Promotion Guide of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, a modern and elegant publication that highlights the special characteristics and identity of the area, showcasing the culture, natural beauty, beaches and authentic hospitality that make the place one of the most important tourist destinations in the Mediterranean.
The new guide presents in a modern way the most important points of interest, the cultural routes, the rich tradition and the natural heritage of the region, substantially contributing to the strengthening of the extroversion and tourist promotion of the Municipality both in Cyprus and abroad.
In his statement on the occasion of the publication of the new Promotion Guide, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, emphasized that in recent years the world has been faced with successive crises and particularly demanding challenges.
"From the health crisis of the pandemic to the Russia-Ukraine war and the contemporary geopolitical developments in the Middle East, societies have been tested on many levels, while at the same time Local Government is called upon to respond to the significant challenges of the reform that is underway," he said.
As he noted, "within this complex environment, the Municipality of Ayia Napa has proven that it has the resilience, organization and determination to effectively face every challenge, continuing its course with stability and vision."
Referring to the new administrative reality of the Local Government, the Mayor underlined that "with the new administrative structure, the enlarged Municipality of Ayia Napa, consisting of the Municipal Districts of Ayia Napa, Sotiras, Avgorou, Liopetri and Achna, is moving forward united, laying solid foundations for an even more dynamic and sustainable future for all residents."
In conclusion, Mr. Zannetou pointed out that "with love for the place, a vision for development and a commitment to creative work, the municipal authority is working systematically to build a modern and resilient Municipality, which progresses and creates prospects for future generations", emphasizing that the new Promotion Guide is an important tool for the further promotion and promotion of the region internationally.
