The crowned Maria Armenaki considers her choice from her city to incarnate the Queen of the Carnival at the Famagusta Carnival next Sunday a great honor.
Miss Cyprus 2017, in her statements to Famagusta.News, expressed her warm thanks to the Municipality, the Municipal Council and the Mayor of Ayia Napa himself, but also to the organizers of the Famagusta Carnival for their choice to embody the Queen of the Carnival 2018 as Aphrodite of Cabo Greco.
She is particularly pleased, as she said, with the choice of subject because, impersonating the Aphrodite of Cape, she was given the opportunity to show off the beauties of Ayia Napa and the province in general.
At the same time, she did not fail to express her emotion for the role assigned to her, since in this way she represents her hometown, something that, she said, serves as recognition and support from her co-conspirators who embrace and support her in her first professional steps.
She declares herself a lover of Ayia Napa, as her favorite places in her city are none other than Cape Greco, the Medieval Monastery and the only beach "Makronisos" which she adores.
As for the role of the Queen of the Famagusta Carnival, she does not consider it difficult at all. On the contrary, he finds it very entertaining and on this occasion he invited through Famagusta.News the people to leave for a while the worries and scourges of everyday life and to have fun on Sunday in the big Carnival parade of the province of Famagusta in Paralimni.
