The emblematic work of the Ayia Napa Marina is being completed in stages at a fast pace, and according to the plan.
Based on the recently updated data regarding the progress of the project, the slab of the seventh floor (at 30 meters above sea level) has already been completed in the east tower, while the works for the construction of the slab of the eighth floor continue (about 33 meters above sea level).
It is worth noting that in the current phase of the eastern tower, it is already the tallest building in the province of Famagusta. The promotion plan of the West Tower in the market is evaluated at regular intervals.
In the seaside villas and mansions on the artificial island, the works continue with the aim of their gradual delivery to their owners, in the summer of 2021. In particular, in the villa 18, on the artificial island, the works - both indoors and in the surrounding area - have already been completed and the villa is used as a show house.
In the marina, with the gradual delivery of parts of the project, such as the shopping area and the mansions on the artificial island, the berths will rise to 300 of the 150 available today. An important development is the recent integration of the marina in the ports of limited use that gives the opportunity for reception and hospitality of large cruise ships and large yachts (Superyacht), starting from the coming tourist season.
Equally important to mention is the fact that in the boat maintenance area owned by the marina, there is an increasing trend in the demand for professional maintenance services, such as high pressure hull cleaning, anti-fouling painting, maintenance of engines and electronic systems.
The space is equipped with remote controlled cranes and systems of the latest technology of cleaning, painting and repairs. The Travel Hoist type remote controlled crane has the ability to lift boats up to 36 meters long and weigh 150 tons, while the Negative Forklift type crane has the ability to lift boats up to 10 tons and a length of 10 meters. This service is unique in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
Regarding the service of the owners of boats, an important development is the recent conclusion of an agreement with the Alfamega supermarkets for the delivery of purchases directly to the boats that dock in the marina, through an online order on their website.
Finally, work in the commercial area is in its final stages. In the summer of 2021, the commercial zone enters a pilot phase of operation, attracting intense interest from companies to rent the remaining available stores.
