With a great concert with one of the most beloved representatives of modern pop and rap music, Marseaux, and Mente Fuerte, one of the hottest names in the Greek trap and rap scene, as well as a rich artistic program and activities for young and old, the Ayia Napa Municipality will celebrate this year the Lighting of the Christmas Decorations, which will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the Central Square of Ayia Napa "Georgos Seferis", marking the official start of the Christmas season.
The event, which is expected to be impressive and warm for the whole family, will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will last until late at night, offering a series of dance and musical performances that will bring color, sparkle and a festive atmosphere to the city center.
The festive program will include dance performances from Evolution Dance Studio, Elite School of Dance, Vision Dance Studio, the Departments of the Ayia Napa Municipality Open School and the Ayia Napa Municipal Dance Club, as well as musical presentations from the Niki & Christos Karaiskou Conservatory.
Around 18.30, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, accompanied by the Deputy Mayors of all Municipal Districts and the members of the Municipal Council, will light up the Christmas Decorations, officially marking the start of this year's festive season. Immediately afterwards, the great concert of Marseaux and Mente Fuerte will follow, who are expected to excite the audience with their energetic program with all their favorite hits.
There will also be free Christmas activities for children, a letter to Santa Claus, a Christmas mascot, as well as a special phone booth that connects children directly with their beloved Santa. At the same time, the Christmas Bazaar of the Parents' Associations of the Ayia Napa "Antonis Tsokkos" Primary School and the Ayia Napa Public/Community Kindergarten will be operating, with food, sweets and drinks.
As part of the event, the action "A Gift of Love, A Smile" will also take place, during which the Social Workers of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, the Ayia Napa Church Youth Band and the Ayia Napa Youth invite all those who wish and are able to offer a gift for the children of the community who need it, in the spirit of giving and Christmas love.
