The opening of the Ayia Napa Municipality's Quarterly Theatrical Performances took place with great success on the evening of Tuesday, January 21, at the packed Ayia Napa Municipal Theater, with Lena Kitsopoulou's emblematic play "The Moon", directed by the acclaimed Cypriot Director Costas Silvestros and produced by the Dentro Theater.
The work, based on the collection “Great Roads”, reveals the dark aspects of life in a Greek village, where the inhabitants diligently hide their secrets behind nicknames and fake smiles. Through a series of extreme and violent incidents, Kitsopoulou sketches with bitter humor the pathologies of provincial society.
The Quarter of Theatrical Performances continues this Sunday, January 26th with the children's performance of the "Mascarini Theater" "CLOTHES? WHICH CLOTHES?", which will take place at the Ayia Napa Municipal Theater, at 11:00 a.m.
Free entrance.
