A magnificent concert by Yannis Kotsiras will open the curtain on the 20th Ayia Napa Medieval Festival on Wednesday, October 8, marking the start of this anniversary celebration, which is a leading cultural event in Cyprus. The Central Square and the areas around the Medieval Monastery will be transformed into a living stage, full of history, colors and music, taking thousands of visitors on a true journey into the Middle Ages.

The concert of Yannis Kotsiras, one of the most important Greek performers, will take place at 21:00 and will offer the audience favorite songs that have marked generations. From "Tsigaro" and "Kapou tha vrethom" to "Sasmo" and "Ena feggari dromos", the evening promises emotion, genuine entertainment and original arrangements that will remain unforgettable. Together with him, the stable group of excellent musicians and the performer Dimitra Moraiti create a program full of surprises and authentic folk color.

Before the big concert, at 19:00, the streets and squares of Ayia Napa will come alive with an unforgettable medieval spectacle. At the entrance to the square, the “Storici Sbandieratori Delle Contrade Di Cori” will raise their flags, offering an impressive spectacle, while the “Ballet Armas Group”, with its impressive costumes, will present a unique dance performance. The “Venice Mask La Bottega Dei Sogni” will enchant with their atmospheric presence, while the “Steam Show”, with fires and dragons, will offer an impressive experience for everyone.

In the upper square, the "Gruppo Storico Sbandieratori Fivizzano" and the "Borgo San Lorenzo Group" will present their famous flag displays, the "Ballet Guerrers" will dance impressively with swords, while the "Bubble on Circus - Wonder Walks Group" will travel young and old to a world of dreams and fairy tales.

At the same time, on the main stage, the melodies of the multicultural band "Spiritual Seasons" will blend with the images of the stilts - balloons of "Voyage Fantastique", while the traditional dances of "Dworek Polsky" and the sounds of "Ventus Eurus", the magical dwarves "The Little Vikings" and the impressive stilts "Pavana" will offer unique moments.

The Ayia Napa Medieval Festival begins in the most impressive way, inviting everyone – residents, locals and foreign visitors – to become one with the knights, acrobats, princesses, dragons, fairies and legendary heroes, on a journey that awakens memories and imagination.
