The inevitable happened on Friday, February 07th at the Agrotospitos, where for approximately three hours, dozens of elderly tourists who live in Ayia Napa during the winter period visited the place to watch the entire process followed by Mrs. Loukia Savva regarding the preparation of traditional halloumi.
Impressed by the whole process, they asked Mrs. Savva and the relevant officials of the Municipality of Ayia Napa various questions in order to learn as much as possible about this delicious traditional product of our place and at the same time expressed their heartfelt thanks to the Municipality of Ayia Napa for giving them the opportunity to learn about this special Cypriot product and to live a unique and special experience. After the process, everyone was offered halloumi and trahanas soup.
Mayor Mr. Christos Zannetou welcomed the fact that once again the activity of this specific program is crowned with success, and this, as he said, demonstrates that our winter vacationers have warmly embraced the program.
He also assured that the Municipality of Ayia Napa will continue to enrich winter activities and events, so as to offer senior visitors pleasant and unique moments, something that will contribute greatly to the upgrading of our tourism product and to the extension of the winter season.
