With particular interest, the lecture by Mr. Nikos Lygeros on the topic "Memory, Intelligence and Strategic Development" was held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at the "George Seferis" Cultural Center, under the auspices of the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou.
Through a multidimensional approach, Mr. Lygeros highlighted memory as the foundation of historical continuity, intelligence as a tool of creation, and strategy as the mechanism that transforms vision into a project with a lasting and substantial impact.
Particular reference was made to the importance of active citizen participation, innovation, cooperation and the harmonious coexistence of development activity with nature and the environment. At the same time, the perspective of a broader strategic plan for the free region of Famagusta, founded on historical continuity and collective action, was developed.
