In his brief greeting, he expressed, on behalf of the Mayor and the Municipal Council, his special joy and satisfaction that the Municipality of Ayia Napa is participating for the first time in such an important event for our country, which is an institution established in 2008 by the European Union and is celebrated in coastal-maritime cities and thanked the organizers for including Ayia Napa in their events this year.
Afterwards, Mr. Kikilos praised the importance of the sea for Ayia Napa and its residents, as well as for the important role it played in its development and progress, and presented the actions and activities that will take place during the three-day events in Thalassa Municipal Museum, MUSAN Underwater Museum and Seferis Study Center.
The event is supported by the European Commission and is under the auspices of the Deputy Ministry of Shipping.
