The practical support of the Municipality of Ayia Napa for the "I Cycle for One Euro" campaign, an initiative of Marina Theodorou and her cycling team, which promotes healthy living, exercise and social solidarity, and which this year supports the Pancyprian Federation of Associations of Parents of Children with Special Needs, was expressed by the Deputy Mayor of the Municipal District of Avgorou, Mr. Panagis Michaelas, delivering the Municipality's contribution on behalf of the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou and the Municipal Council.
Mr. Michaelas stated that the Municipality of Ayia Napa will continue to stand by actions that unite society and contribute to the creation of a healthier society, while promoting volunteerism, social solidarity and giving to vulnerable groups in society.
The "I Cycle for One Euro" action, which has been taking place for years throughout Cyprus, supports organizations and social service initiatives, while at the same time conveying messages about proper nutrition, physical exercise and the prevention of childhood obesity.
