The three-day cultural festival, which took place from September 25 to 27, transformed the "Georgos Seferis" Central Square into a meeting point for music, dance, tradition and contemporary creation.
The concerts of Josephine, Kostas Makedonas with Maria Theodotou and Locomondo, the "World Rhythms" of the "RYTHMOS" Dance Group, the "Flames of the Caucasus - From Georgia to Pontus" of the National Dance Group "ROMIOSYNI" and the production "Passion Divas" of the Passion Dance School composed a diverse artistic program with an international character.
The official opening was declared by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Mr. Christos Senekis, while greetings were delivered by the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, and the Deputy Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Antonis Christou.
Street artists, exhibitions, art installations, activities for children, traditional arts and gastronomic experiences at the Agrotospito brought life to every corner of the square. The film “Many Lives, Many Cultures. One Agia Napa” highlighted the human stories that make up the modern identity of our city.
With a firm focus on the Mayor's vision for cultural extroversion and unity, the event highlighted the common cultural wealth of the five Municipal Districts: Ayia Napa, Sotira, Liopetri, Avgorou and Achna.
The Municipality of Ayia Napa warmly thanks the artists, the contributors, the services and staff of the Municipality, the partners and all of you who, with your presence, gave a special pulse to the Festival.
