The Municipality of Ayia Napa and the National Judge of the Blue Flag Institution are organizing the ceremony on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., at the seaside courtyard of the Nissi Blue Hotel, on Nissi Beach, in Ayia Napa.
The ceremony is under the auspices of the Honorable Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Dr. Maria Panayiotou.
The Blue Flag is an international symbol of quality, safety, cleanliness and environmental responsibility, highlighting the continuous effort for clean, organized and sustainable beaches.
The program includes greetings, an artistic program, the awarding of the Blue Flag, honorary awards and the symbolic Raising of the Blue Flag.
