The event organized by the Ayia Napa Municipal District of the Ayia Napa Municipality, at the South entrance of the Medieval Monastery, was completed with great success on Lazarus Saturday, April 12th.
With the sunny weather and the idyllic setting of the Medieval Monastery as allies, parents with their children, residents and visitors, actively participated in a two-hour program full of tradition, music and creativity, resulting in a festive and at the same time devout atmosphere.
To the sounds of the musical program "Carols of Lazarus - From Golgotha to Resurrection", which included the Lazarus Carols and traditional songs, performed by Elias Hatzimichael, Kyriakos Mattheou and Kyriakos Marcoullis, the participants in the educational workshops decorated Easter candles with beeswax, made Lazarakia and helped in the preparation of the Vagia.
The Deputy Mayor of the Ayia Napa Municipal District, Mr. Antonis Christou, warmly thanked everyone who participated, helped in its organization and contributed to the successful outcome of the event.
