Ayia Napa is preparing to welcome one of the most important charitable sporting events in Cyprus for another year. On March 29, 2026, the Run for Autism returns in full force, inviting runners of all ages and levels to participate in a day dedicated to the joy of running, the power of community and the practical support of our fellow human beings.
The start will be from Nissi Bay Bar, with the route leading participants to Agia Thekla in Sotira and back. The program includes 21, 10, 5 and 1 kilometer routes, as well as a 500 meter children's distance that gives our little friends the opportunity to live their own race experience.

Run for Autism is a unique race of its kind: it is carried out entirely by volunteers, without any commercial or profit-making character. It is an institution that began with passion and social sensitivity, managing to develop into an international reference point in a few years. In last year's event, in 2024, 3.500 runners from 25 different countries participated, proving that running can unite people from all over the world for a common cause.
All proceeds from the Run for Autism will be donated exclusively to the Famagusta Autism Support Association, financially supporting the families of individuals on the autism spectrum and strengthening the operation of the Smile Project Day Center in the Sotiras Municipal District. The Center's work is a vital source of support for children and adults with autism, offering specialized programs, care and a safe development environment.
Run for Autism is not just a race. It is a reminder that the power of giving, empathy, and togetherness can change lives. It is an invitation to all of us to be part of a purpose that goes beyond the finish line.
More information and registrations will be announced soon.
