The Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, had a formal meeting on Friday, January 2, with Mr. Robert Gutajar, former Mayor of the city of Mellieħa and Member of the Parliament of Malta.
The meeting took place in a particularly cordial and friendly atmosphere, with the Mayor expressing his appreciation for Mr. Robert's long-standing contribution to the development and strengthening of relations between Ayia Napa and Mellieħa, which were sealed with the twinning of the two cities in 2008.
During the meeting, Mr. Robert spoke warmly of Ayia Napa, emphasizing that his appointment as the city’s Tourism Ambassador during the Ayia Napa International Festival last September was a special honor for him. At the same time, he assured the Mayor that he will continue to work consistently to further promote Ayia Napa and strengthen the cooperative relations between the two municipalities.
Mayor Mr. Christos Zannetou thanked Mr. Robert for his continued support and interest in Ayia Napa, expressing the certainty that this cooperation will continue dynamically in the coming years.
