The opening of the exhibition of the painter Panikkos P. Hatzidakis and other artists entitled "Iconography and Western Art" took place on Friday, May 8, 2026, in the evening, at the "George Seferis" Cultural Center, by the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou.

The exhibition space hosts more than 100 icons, which highlight twelve different schools of iconography and Western Art, offering the public a unique cultural and artistic experience.

In his greeting, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, congratulated the artist Panikkos P. Hatzidakis and all the participating creators for their remarkable work and significant cultural contribution, emphasizing that such exhibitions contribute substantially to the promotion of art and culture in the Ayia Napa region. At the same time, he expressed his warm thanks to all those who contributed to the organization of the exhibition and wished it every success.

The exhibition will run until June 8, 2026 and will be open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00, as well as Saturday and Sunday from 18:00 to 21:00.
