The four-day events of the 3rd Ayia Napa International Winter Swimming Festival begin on Saturday, January 17, and end on Tuesday, January 20, and are co-organized by the Ayia Napa Municipality and the Ayia Napa Winter Swimming Club.
This is a well-established institution that promotes winter swimming and culture, while also contributing to the emergence of Ayia Napa as a winter tourist destination.
This year's innovation of the Festival is the extension of its duration to four days, offering a rich and diverse program of activities for all ages.
On Sunday, January 18, 2026, at "Makronisos" beach, the official event of the Festival will take place, from 10:00 to 13:00, which will be honored with the presence of the Honorable Minister of Interior, Mr. Konstantinos Ioannou, and the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou.
As part of the event, the unveiling of the embossed emblem of the Ayia Napa Winter Swimmers' Club will take place, a special moment that marks the dynamic presence of the Club on "Makronisos" beach.
The full Festival program includes, among other things, swimming, Tai Chi and Yoga classes, a sand art competition, SUP (Stand Up Paddle) demonstration, speeches and many other entertainment events, which are presented in detail in the attached program.

The 3rd International Ayia Napa Winter Swimmers Festival will take place from Saturday, January 17, to Tuesday, January 20, 2026. The four-day Festival is jointly organized by the Agia Napa Municipality and the Ayia Napa Winter Swimmers Club.

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, the official Festival Ceremony will be held at "Makronisos Beach" from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, honored by the presence of the Honorable Minister of Interior, Mr. Konstantinos Ioannou, and the Mayor of Agia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannettou.
