The second theme, entitled "Every Age a New Beginning", is aimed at senior citizens, and is being implemented within the framework of the Ayia Napa Municipality Open School's pioneering program "Open Lifelong Learning for All".
This is an experiential workshop dedicated to the active and creative lives of older people, whose main goal is to cultivate a supportive environment that strengthens communication and self-care.
Through participatory actions and experiential techniques, participants will have the opportunity to develop physical and mental well-being skills, strengthen their self-esteem and discover ways to remain active, creative and socially integrated.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the Achna Forest Fotis Pitta Primary School at 18:30 and on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the Ayia Napa Cultural Center Giorgos Seferis also at 18:30.
The speaker of the unit is Andri Nikolaou, a Social Worker of the Neighborhood Social Worker Program with many years of experience in supporting and empowering the elderly.
The action is part of the Neighborhood Social Worker Program, which is implemented within the framework of the Restructuring of Social Welfare Services project and is co-financed by the European Union through the THALEIA 2021-2027 Cohesion Policy Program.
Participation is free and for all thematic modules of the program, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance.
