With the best omens, the program started with the various activities of the Municipality of Ayia Napa after it succeeded for the first time in the coexistence of elderly people from Cyprus and abroad.
Beautiful and touching moments took place during the demonstration of weaving on the loom by Mrs. Eleni Zartila, which took place on Friday, January 10, at the Farmhouse, where elderly people from SKE Liopetriou and Scandinavian tourists coexisted for the first time in the same event and had the opportunity to inform each other about the customs and traditions of their region and to share their experiences.
Mrs. Zartila made an extensive reference to the entire process followed regarding weaving on the loom, while also managing to awaken memories of their own era.
Next Friday, January 17, in the same place, Mrs. Chrystalla Pitsilli will present an educational seminar on the cultivation of the pumpkin where the attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the painting.
