The 12-year-old British woman appeared today in the Famagusta District Court before the only accusation of public harm due to a false testimony for rape by 19 Israelis.
During the proceedings, the 19-year-old suffered a panic attack upon hearing from the judge that the case will continue on October 15-16-17. He began to tremble and burst into tears.
One of her lawyers, Ms. Ritsa Pekri, told the court that her client was suffering from psychological problems and was being monitored by a psychiatrist in Britain and that her family was also having financial problems.
She asked to be allowed to return to her country, on the same terms that she remains in Cyprus until now.
The prosecution lodged an objection and the court rejected the defendant's request for defense. Due to a final court report of 36 pages, the court stopped the process by appointing new defendants.
However, he accepted the request of the defendant, as presented at the Lykavitos police station, instead of three times a week, only every Monday.
