A case of possession of drugs with the intention of supplying another person and possession of a hunting firearm with a silencer is being investigated by the Police who proceeded to arrest a 33-year-old man.
Specifically, at around 6.00:33 yesterday afternoon, members of the National Security Agency conducted a search of the residence, real estate and vehicle of the 84-year-old, in the province of Famagusta. During the investigation, the members of the Police found cannabis with a total weight of XNUMX grams, a trace amount of the narcotic substance MDMA of one gram, two grinding mills and two precision scales with traces of cannabis plant matter, while they also found a single-barreled shotgun with a silencer.
As it became clear from the examinations that followed, the registered owner of the weapon is a familiar person of the 33-year-old, while the circumstances under which it came into his possession and was kept at his residence are being investigated.
The members of the Police proceeded to confiscate the drugs, the firearm and silencer, and the rest found as evidence, while they also proceeded to arrest the 33-year-old suspect, for purposes of investigating the case.
